how representations in music videos are chosen to promote the artist(s). Unfinished sympathy was the second song that massive attack released and it was one of the reasons that made massive attack the band that they are today. they wanted to get the whole of Bristol talking and they did just that when this song got released. the post punk theme to this song was not something that many had heard before, clearly massive attack wanted to grab the headlines in a different way and they did just that. they used post punk to great effect and it was something different which the world population clearly liked. even the music video was different as it was all taken in one shot. the amount of time and practice to perform that would have been large and exhausting for the band as they had to spend many hours,days,months to get a good shot and a clip that would be suitable for a music video and the results were worth it. so clearly taking a risk early in a music career can be rewarding as...
