Online newspapers

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/index.html https://www.theguardian.com/uk Analysis of the daily mails and guardians online websites 1. Both do follow the codes and conventions of their print outs as the daily mail is a tabloid newspaper and often talks about celebrities and more softer news and this is the same with the online version as pictured to the top left as they are talking about celeb and more softer stories as well. These offer a variety of news articles that many different people with different views whether left wing or right wing The guardian and the online versions both talk about politics and hard news as brexit has been the main topic of discussion and as you can see the online version is talking about brexit news to this day. 2. The news values are clear on the online versions as well as the printed copy as both sources (the mail online and the guardian online) have their main headlines and news at the top of the page where people will be able

representation the representation of Lester is seen in the clip as he is presented as a sad, self indulgent man who is clearly depressed and this is shown by how he dresses which we will come across later. he says that his high point comes when he is in the shower and this clearly shows that he is depressed and he has no leadership over his family Caroline= a cold and cruel woman you could say and clearly she is depressed to and this theme runs across the family, she tries to be the leader however clearly she is struggling too just like Lester janey= once again a dark character who is struggling with her teenage years, has the power over her father and we see this when she is able to sit in the front of the car, she also mocks him and she is the one that is lighted up when the family who used to be happy once and we see this in pictures, she is lighted up when its dinner and like Lester she is not generous of her mums work. the boy= he is videoing the father and daughter and

The Guardian and the daily mail

Image
The Guardian     Here we see another politic post once again the target audience consisting mainly of adults and once again it is about the conservatives (right wing) and labour (left wing). The tone is quite angry as the publisher targets the bbc and its right wing view as mentioned in the title of this post. The fact that the guardian has published this shows bias towards left wing as the publish an attack on the right wing views of the bbc Here the guardian shows the left wing case for brexit. As the guardian is left wing it is not surprising that left wing views are made. This is targeting the adult audience as it is about politics and adults are more likely to understand this. The tone is more calm and talks about politics and the case for brexit in a light away making it easy for the readers to understand and for the guardian to get their points across to the reader. As said before this paper is biased as it talks about

David guetta sexy chick analysis

David Guetta- sexy chick analysis   In this video we see the way that females are used in many of male’s music videos as sexual and perhaps Guetta is trying to attract more male followers by using these women as objects. At the start we already see how women are presented in this video as they are around the pool/beach with swimwear on and at his point there are no males present and only a few men throughout the video who are often surrounded by women who are dancing/parading the men maybe for the male’s pleasure as seen in the picture. We also see that many of the males have clothing on including Guetta himself which could show his lack of confidence however he has not realized in producing the video that these females are also vulnerable. We see the males who are viewing these women in a particular way and even into the males we see the large difference between the amount of men and the amount of women and we also see that many of the males still ha

Stereotypes

Stereotypes Gender Gender is a massive part as you have two different genders, male and female and we interperate each other and ourselves. The roles between the two different genders have become more of the same over the past years with both genders able to do each other’s role well and are more than capable of completing a set of tasks. Although there is still a large gap in gender roles with the male gender more into sports and computer game and the female gender more into mobile technology and beauty accessories and fashion although the male gender do care about the way they look like the female gender and the female gender are more than capable of playing sports and video games for example many men have produced perfume and many big English cities have got both male and female football teams for example Leicester city and Leicester ladies. Region There are many different regions in the UK and many do clash with each other and have different views about each other. Foo

Teenagers

Image
This image shows a young and vulnerable teenager who had just experienced a near death experience and she was determined to sit her gcse exam the following morning.  Any member of the public will be shell shocked at what just happened however this girl still sat her gcses. This shows bravery and desire and this perhaps could be the message that the mail online website is trying to share that teenagers are not bad or lazy, they want to put these people in a clear bright light. The word brave has been used to show the bravery of the teens that we have today. I agree with this because teenagers do make the choice that suits them and they should have that choice.   This is a more negative story and it tells of a murder which immediately tells us that this article represents teenagers in a bad way. A martial arts fighter has been murdered and these three people are accused including a sixteen-year-old girl who had apparently been led to commit this murder by their friends wh
