Comparing editorial comment

The mail has its own opinions and in such that it comes across as a bit bias towards the right wing. it almost mocks brexit saying in this version of the mail that it is "tragic to see the humiliation of our country" could this be an attack on politics and Britain that is usually right wing, the same as the guardian. however is this an attack on the conservative party and to their leader Theresa may who is shown as a leader who simply can not lead. could the daily mail be attacking the prime minister and to try to persuade the public to turn against may. "Theresa Mays decision to call a snap election must rank as one of the greatest misjudgments made by a peace time prime minister". the guardian however would take both sides into perspective as they are usually mutual and often talk about politics in this kind of way offering a more neutral view that both left and right citizens can view. Here is another example of a editorial comment which has already been desc

Media question

how representations in music videos are chosen to promote the artist(s). Unfinished sympathy was the second song that massive attack released and it was one of the reasons that made massive attack the band that they are today. they wanted to get the whole of Bristol talking and they did just that when this song got released. the post punk theme to this song was not something that many had heard before, clearly massive attack wanted to grab the headlines in a different way and they did just that. they used post punk to great effect and it was something different which the world population clearly liked. even the music video was different as it was all taken in one shot. the amount of time and practice to perform that would have been large and exhausting for the band as they had to spend many hours, days, months to get a good shot and a clip that would be suitable for a music video and the results were worth it. so clearly taking a risk early in a music career can be rewarding as wel

stereotypes age

this could reflect on how teenagers are viewed and the mail online clearly wants the older generation to think of the younger generation as violent which we are clearly not. here the mail are trying to turn everyone against the younger generation as they think that we are dangerous, aggressive and violent. the word chilling that the mail online has used could reflect on the fact that they think that we are dangerous and they want to make a point to the older generation who are more likely to read this about what we are like. again this is not true.

Massive attack and radiohead questions

1. The meaning of unfinished sympathy is the fear of getting hurt when you fall in love or the pain that you feel if you get too close to someone however it does not go well. A negative view of love is presented here by massive attack that they could have been through, plus love is a powerful emotion. The meaning of Radiohead is the meaning of fear and imagination and culture, clearly people are scared of them however these people take the fear to another level and this is shown both in the lyrics and in the video. 2. the messages that the convey is the message of fear in both songs but with different meanings. burn the witch creates a message of love, lost and fear when you fear of losing someone that you love and massive attack wants to create this message to the audience. the culture of burn the witch is shown and this is the message as well as fear which is one of the main themes both in this song and in the video burn the witch. 3. the artists have been represented as

Massive Attack

Massive Attack the band was made up by different types of people with different abilities, its members are Robert Del naja, Andrew vowles, Grant Marshall and Stephanie dosen and it formed in 1987 so it is an old band with a punk/hip hop range of music from the town of Bristol where music was not one of the topics in discussion and massive attack clearly wanted to change this... and they succeeded. blue lines was the first of many to be albums that massive attack would release and this got everyone talking especially in Bristol who had not experienced this before.  according to one of the band members 3d the album took 8 months to make showing the effort put in to this album and the rewards were worth it. street culture is where the youth show off their talents in the streets, graffiti can often be seen as it shows the hip hop side of street culture and street culture itself. the album blue lines was the first to be released some 20 years+ ago released in 1991. the music was di
