Fanta advert


we have created a advert that would appear in the food and drink industry and we have chosen a fizzy drink product aimed at adults because they are most likely to have the product and it reminds them about the good old times of the 20th century, it also is designed for teenagers and we can see this by the modern word banta in the slogan and the new style shoes when compared to the old 1980s style shoes and the old 1980 fanta symbol the slogan that we used would tempt the target audience (adults) to buy the product as they would feel like then can relax by having the product and this is completely true, fanta is designed to relax the person drinking the product and it is also designed to satisfy their taste buds.

the photographs have an orange saturation to subliminally hint towards the main fanta flavour of orange, this will intise the viewer of the advert to buy the main flavour of fanta which will increase sales in this product. in the context of the picture and the logo they fit each other well by them being in the same time frame, this will rekindle the nostalgic feeling of people who drank fanta in the 80s. this is in reference to the riots of punk vs society and fanta was not as commercial as other drinks such as coke so this is what the punks reverted to.

The old style theme of the fanta logo and the riots which where a common feature back in the 80s, the use of the font and the use of the black and white picture which we can see is saturated in a orange colour to show the main fanta flavour and colour scheme. The old style is used so that we can create a specific target audience which would be older men as the would have a clearer understanding of the riots that happened and the violence that was clearly shown and that is one of the reasons why we have targeted the male sex.

If we were to improve our advertising of the product we may have added more references towards the 80s style theme and also we can add more modern items so that we can target the teenage persons as well as adults so that we can have a wide range of people that would purchase the fanta drink.

Teenagers

This image shows a young and vulnerable teenager who had just experienced a near death experience and she was determined to sit her gcse exam the following morning.  Any member of the public will be shell shocked at what just happened however this girl still sat her gcses. This shows bravery and desire and this perhaps could be the message that the mail online website is trying to share that teenagers are not bad or lazy, they want to put these people in a clear bright light. The word brave has been used to show the bravery of the teens that we have today. I agree with this because teenagers do make the choice that suits them and they should have that choice.   This is a more negative story and it tells of a murder which immediately tells us that this article represents teenagers in a bad way.
