how representations in music videos are chosen to promote the artist(s). Unfinished sympathy was the second song that massive attack released and it was one of the reasons that made massive attack the band that they are today. they wanted to get the whole of Bristol talking and they did just that when this song got released. the post punk theme to this song was not something that many had heard before, clearly massive attack wanted to grab the headlines in a different way and they did just that. they used post punk to great effect and it was something different which the world population clearly liked. even the music video was different as it was all taken in one shot. the amount of time and practice to perform that would have been large and exhausting for the band as they had to spend many hours,days,months to get a good shot and a clip that would be suitable for a music video and the results were worth it. so clearly taking a risk early in a music career can be rewarding as...

This image shows a young and vulnerable teenager who had just experienced a near death experience and she was determined to sit her gcse exam the following morning.  Any member of the public will be shell shocked at what just happened however this girl still sat her gcses. This shows bravery and desire and this perhaps could be the message that the mail online website is trying to share that teenagers are not bad or lazy, they want to put these people in a clear bright light. The word brave has been used to show the bravery of the teens that we have today. I agree with this because teenagers do make the choice that suits them and they should have that choice.   This is a more negative story and it tells of a murder which immediately tells us that this article represents teenagers in a bad way. representation the representation of Lester is seen in the clip as he is presented as a sad, self indulgent man who is clearly depressed and this is shown by how he dresses which we will come across later. he says that his high point comes when he is in the shower and this clearly shows that he is depressed and he has no leadership over his family Caroline= a cold and cruel woman you could say and clearly she is depressed to and this theme runs across the family, she tries to be the leader however clearly she is struggling too just like Lester janey= once again a dark character who is struggling with her teenage years, has the power over her father and we see this when she is able to sit in the front of the car, she also mocks him and she is the one that is lighted up when the family who used to be happy once and we see this in pictures, she is lighted up when its dinner and like Lester she is not generous of her mums work. the boy= he is videoing the father and daughter...
